Solve : Fan Auto-Shutdown?

I was on the pre-boot SETUP screen and was checking my fan settings and switched to Auto Shutdown Computer when Fan Fails and now when I turn my computer on it immediately turns off.  My computer was working fine before I accidently switched this value.  I have no boot disk and am WONDERING what my options are?  Try:

Locate replacement fans. Open case. remove fans. replace with replacement fans. close case. turn on computer.Fish.....Well , I would try the obvious..... go into the pre-boot setup screen and disable the auto SHUT down function.........   Now I guess the next logical QUESTION is ........... Are the fans working ok ?
