Hi guy's the only reason I'm asking here is because I don't want every Tom *censored* and harry giving RANDOM advice. I need to GET my fan on my laptop changed. Aegis if you remember I gave it a fonzy like slap after you gave me SAGE advice to replace it which I ignored unfortunately, it did stop but it's getting worse now. A mate of mine knows a guy in a shop but how much do you think I should pay for a fan fix on a Advent 9315 laptop? Any constructive advice is much appreciated. Noticed how I said constructive BC?

I think Calum does repairs on quite a few laptops. And, he is in the UK, but I've no idea how far from you.

I think he's been away, and should return within a couple days. Keep an eye out for him to return and post somewhere here on the forum.

If he can't fix it for you, maybe he can at least give you a ballpark figure as to what to expect to pay. It sure won't cost you anything to ask.
