help i've just got a usb flash disk drive and when i try to put files into it an error message comes up saying add diskDid it ever work? If so, what has CHANGED? If not, how is it seen under Properties for that drive? WHat operatin system. My comp has USB 2.0 on back but the two front USB ports are USB 1.1. My flash drive will work on a USB 1.1 port but Windows displays a message saying this device will work faster on a USB 2.0 port. My flash drive CAME with an extension cable. So, I have the cable PLUGGED into a USB 2.0 port on back, than I plug the flash drive into the cable.yes i have used my usb ports on other hardware and they all work.my flash disk is 2.0 and my usb ports are 2.0 but thank you again

i only have the 1 computer so i will have to ask a friend to try it on theirs thank youI have a Cruzer Micro 1.0 GB and when I plug it in it creates two new drives. One drive is read only, for the autorun programs that come with the drive. Files can be added and changed on the other drive, however. Does your computer show two new drives when you plug your flash disk in?no my flash disk only shows 1 drive in my computer
