Hi..I searched to see if this has been brought up already and I didnt see anything on it.

I need to download a quickbooks file onto my sandisk 8gb flashdrive.

The computer recognizes the hardware, but when I go to d/l the file, it says invalid path.
My husband downloaded a new driver for the flashdrive, could he have d/l the wrong one?

Do I need to REFORMAT this? If so, can someone TELL me how?

I stand corrected, yes the quickbooks file.
It does show up in "my computer".

What do you think could be the issue, and what if it doesnt show up in my computer?(for future reference).

Thanks!I think the main problem with flash drives not being recognized is if you keep pulling them out without using the Safely Remove Hardware feature.
When you PLUG in the flash drive, there should be an icon with a green ARROW in the System Tray (near the clock).
Left Click it once and click on the Flash Drive to remove it safely.
