Solve : flashing command line (netstat -a)?? |
|
Answer» my friend was recently hacked by WAY of having a trojan installed on her computer. anyway, now she seems to have a problem with a flashing command line when she does a netstat -a. can anyone explain why this happens? the command line/DOS opens up, just that when a command is entered, such as netstat -a, it flashes and closes instantly. Can I now take it that the same problem occurs with commands other than netstat -a :-? Please try other entries at the Command Prompt such as the humble Dir so that we can narrow the problem to EITHER the command prompt or the command being entered. Which command prompt is being used, Command.com or Cmd.exe :-? This is a typical symptom of one of several infections. Carry out the procedures listed in this post and post a HIJACKTHIS logfile here when done. If possible, zip the logfile and ATTACH it rather than post it. |
