Solve : Floppy disk drive :(?

After re-installing XP on a friends computer, the box no longer sees the 3.5 floppy drive. There is no icon for it in "My computer" or anything.
Anyone GOT a clue as to what to do??

Go into BIOS and make sure that the 3.5 floppy is enabled. Let us know how that works. How to do this varies from machine to machine, but it's usually the DEL/Delete key when it SHOWS what all drives you have. Quote

I hate to sound totally newbish, but how do I do this?? :-? Sorry, thanks for the quick reply Like I said, it depends on the computer. What brand of computer is this?Got it, thanks DILBERT It is an older "Microtel" lmao :exclamation I fingered it out, thanks again for the help
