Hi peeps, newbie here and i have a problem that i could not find in Forums?
It pertains to my Floppy drive. I recently installed a new 3.5" Floppy drive in my pc.
Although my pc found the Floppy and notified me accordingly, i still can't see it listed in My Computer?
Please can you tell me is there a way to make this Floppy appear in the LISTINGS, or would i need to try another Floppy instead?
So it does not show up as A: ? ?
In the BIOS make sure floppy seek on startup is enabled...
If the light is on all the time then the power connector is backwards.

Also try another ribbon cable.

At the moment it's not showing up as anything. I followed your INSTRUCTIONS, changed the BIOS settings, changed the Floppy drive 3 times, even changed the robbon cable.
I had 3 other CABLES and none would work. Power cable is fine, i8 tried it in something else. One of the Floppy's light's would not switch off but i could not reverse the power connector.??

I'll get a new BRAIN whilst i'm at it hehe.
Anyway, i won't need the Floppy, so i might as well put up with it for the time being.
