Answer» I have installed Floppy Drive in Asus p5vd2-mx-se motherboard, my problem is the Floppy drive that i have instalalled was not detected by the Windows XP. I GET the Floppy that I have installed in ANOTHER COMPUTER and it was being detected there. Pls helpme.Might not be compatible. If it is not detected by XP the cabling could be backwards...is it being detected in the BIOS on startup ? ?perhaps its a similar problem with my cd drive before wherein the same doesnt show in the device manager and in the system information as well.anyhow, just try exploring your device manager then right clik the disk DRIVES then clik scan for hardware changes.hope it works. gross_earnings
