I am ATTEMPTING to get hard drive INFORMATION from an old FreeNAS setup. It has a cut floppy ribbon cable (34 pin). In my interest to purchase ANOTHER to replace it, I have found several available on EBAY but they identify the cable as 'simulated'.
What is the difference between simulated floppy ribbon cable and 'non-simulated'?
