Answer» I wanted to thank you guys for your posts, thank you for helping me the best you could. You don't get that much anywhere else. I just took my new tower to a buddy of mine that own's a computer shop, and he's replacing my mobo "proberly" - SO thank's guys for all your HELP. My new system will be back here on friday

Did he tell you what you did wrong or what HAPPENED to the mainboard? May be interesting to know.well more than likely i SHORTED it or somthing, static electricity? or maybe even my fault using the magnetized screwdriver ... i havent heard from my friend yet, but ill let you KNOWYOU should obtain a static free tool-kit, I use a Belkin DEMAGNETIZED tool kit.
Belkin Corporation - Global Home Pagemotherboards are very fragile..and require gentle handing..where is my hammer and nails? thanks for the feedback...and good luck with your new pc...lol merlin... speaking of hammer's and old PC of mine that was totally shot. i got so mad at it for being slow, out of date, and faulty i took a sludge hammer to the tower and beat the sh*t out of it ;Pyou should kicked it as well .....the term booting may have come from this lol i wouldnt hurt my toes on such a waste of a machine
