Answer» i found free speakers in the trash without dust covers but speakers still work without those in my experince they look like http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0710110100 those cept without the speaker case just the speakers and i wanna know how i will make them work like what i need like a reciver or something the one small speaker that was there said fender driver on the back so ya it came with 2 big ones 2 medium ones and 1 of the small ones SOUNDS to me like you MIGHT need a pre-amp and power amp to drive these puppies - to get full useage. i found free speakers in the trashIt came to that?....LOLlol yes broni and chris were can i get those mabye i can try the smaller speaker on a stero reciver?I expect you'll need to check out radio Shack or similar. Otherwise SCAN Ebay ad's to see if someone is selling of an amp at a good price. Might tho still be cheaper to get a set of puter speakers which have a sub BASS and integral amp.i just wanna no if they even work lolTo test them - use (or get a friend to use) a digital meter set to resistance scale - and check for continuity of the voice coil. Then establish that the cones move freely over the center magnet - and that cones are not torn. Otherwise find someone with an amp they use for their CD music and let them hook up to test - having established they are at least theoretically VIABLE by a meter test.how do i do the top part I gotta dash ... best you find someone local who can use a meter. Just set scale to low resistance setting and place probes on the two solder connections that should be visible on rear of speaker frame. A reading rather than zilch should indicate coil is viable.oo a multimeter you mean rightWhat else would it be No offence or anything. Just a easy way to say it. Thats good if it works. Saves money. keep up the good work To bad it wasnt me. I need some for a pc that I'm going to be selling. |
