Answer» Hi, Pictures are very helpful also. Here are the best pictures I can get. Will try to send one at a time Sorry it took so long. Next picture.Next picture. I should have said "well focused pictures". Sorry will try to get pictures.bok6782...... Is this a new build .......? If it is , you have a incorrect wiring connection ...... Please carefully reread your MOBO manual ...... its possible you have the processor fan plugged into the wrong place ....but as I dont have it in front of me it's hard to speculate.... and just a tip ....the next time you take some pics ....... look at them before you post then ....... MAKE sure they are sharp clear and in focus ...... LOL Isn't there a wire marker on each of the conductors which run to the front panel ? How about posting a link to your MOBO manual and we can assist you ........ and the tagging on the wires which run to the front panel as well as were they go at the front panel end . dl65 My system was working since sometime in April. However, it was overheating when I downloaded or when I ran spybot search and destroy. I tried adding 2 fans but it still was overheating so I decided to try a different power supply and case. That is when I ran into trouble. Even though I logged how the front panel was hooked up I could not get it to work. I then went BACK to my original hook up and same thing happened. That is, when I turn on the power supply it and the processor fan works but the switch does not turn off the unit. Here is a link to my motherboard that might help. Also I have some more pictures that are better than the ones previously sent. Thanks for your patience. http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/cs-009016.htm PS I am having trouble attaching the pictures to this message. Will send a new post with the pictures if I can. |
