Solve : Full Tower?

Answer»

How many bays can u get in a full tower because hopefully im looking for an 18 bay tower (a bit ambitious i know) but if no one knows of an 18 anyone know where i can get one with the most bays posibleWhat kind of bays?Have you visited the websites of some of the online sellers and looked at tower cases?NO WAY*
Better start thinking about welding and finding some old cases.
i have seen full towers with 10 drive bays but im building this for another person and they want as many bays as posible now i have selected everything else and motherboard has 9 SATA slots so with master and slave thats 18 drives 1 for c:\ and a dvd writer for d:\ and then x16 1 terabyte HDD im just looking for a full tower that can handle as many bays as posibleSee this one: HTTP://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811112109. You would need mounting brackets to mount 3.5 inch hard drives in 5.25 inch bays, but I suspect that's the only way you're GOING to be able to do this with an ATX full tower.I'm still curious why 18 bays?Quote

So a hard drive for your system drive, DVDRW for an optical drive, and 16Tb of storage SPACE?
What does your friend use his PC for?I'm more curious how it's all going to be cooled...Good question.
Enough FANS to take off and fly?
It DEPENDS on the rest of the hardware.
