Solve : FUP and ALU?

I know now that the FUP in a CPU takes care of ware the Point goes in computing math.

How does it work with the ALU that does the math?

When data comes into the CPU it fills the CPUs Internal Registers. And from there it goes to the FPU and the ALU but does it go to the FPU FIRST and then it uses the ALU next?I dont really know anything about this sort of thing but I did a search for it:
