Solve : Gaming and RAM help please?

Answer»

Thanks for that, I knew there'd be at least a few THINGS I missedWell that is why it is really important not to miss things when you are advising SOMEONE ELSE to spend money.Good thing I havnt bought it yet

So, That means if I bought 400mhz 512mb ram to add on to my 2x 256mb 200mhz ram the 512mhz ram will only run at 200mhz?That is correctDarn...

Will 200mhz still be good?Hold on, aren't the other modules 333MHz?
Besides, i would think that the extra RAM would outweigh a slightly slower speed, especially as your current RAM is 33MHz - you're just adding more, not slowing down what's already thereSorry, my mistake, it is 200MHz
Previous post still applies thoughWhat I mean is, would having 1gb RAM @ 200mhz still be a worthwhile upgrade from 512mb RAM @ 200mhz for £30?
You two will just have to work this out for yourselves. Good luck. So will upgrading from 200mhz 512mb to 200mhz 1gb ram be worth it for £33 (About $60) I would say so, yesThanks, Im guessing it would be cheaper to buy a 200mhz 512mb stick but I cant find any, Any ideas or aint it worth looking? It may be cheaper but they're kind of hard to find, any saving you made vs 400MHz would probably be minimal
You might as well buy that RAM, and then you can perhaps use it in your next system with more modules of 400MHz RAM or SOMETHING?
