Solve : Gateway All In One ZX 6800?

Answer»

I want to switch my boot C Drive (SSD) 64Gig, to a slave drive, and use my big drive as the boot drive. I do not
know how to take the back off to switch the drives. I did format the big slave drive and PUT an IMAGE of the boot drive on it.
Anyone know how to take the back off? What do you mean about "taking the back off" ? ?

What tool did you use to image the "big" drive ? ?

In the slave position all that's needed is to use the big drive's manuf. Free tools to clone the small to big...
Once done you disconnect completely the small drive...set the "big" drive to master and re-boot the system.
It should boot normally and all your data and apps should be intact.

After that you can add the small drive jumpered as slave and wipe it and use it for extra storage.

Not quite sure you would want to sacrifice the performance of an SSD drive for the big drive however...Windows 7 storage management. I can't find anything on line from Gateway about physically removing the Back of the
computer (It's a all-in-one) to get at the drives. So one should always use the UTILITIES that represent the Physical Drives. If this machine is new enough to have an SSD drive it should have tons of info on it's specs and owners manuals etc...
You haven't MENTIONED any of this so it's hard to GUESS...
