I have a Gateway MX6445 here, in which I just REPLACED the LCD with a new one. It worked great for a few weeks but now the back light doesn't work. It'll come on for a couple seconds when the computer first boots, then nothing. If I tilt the screen to where the light hits it I can still see the actual image, so it's only an issue with the back light. The fact that it comes on for a few seconds leads me to believe all the CONNECTIONS are OK, and that the issue may be with SOMETHING else. What do you think? Any suggestions?

did you REPLACE the screen yourself ?
