Better late than never...

George Carlin died, Sunday, June 22, 2008...at the age of 71, from heart failure.

Best known for the "Seven Words", George, to me, will always be remembered for his WIT...facial expressions...but most of all...his twisted common sense.

George...I know you're down there..."screaming up at us"...

I, for one, will surely miss him...

I'm watching some of his STUFF on YouTube. Pretty funny  He was ALSO the very first host of SNL. Which means you know the second host is really scared now.God old George. Boy has he left me ROTFLMAO,many a time.

Sad STORY Steve but, thanks for letting me know.To be perfectly honest...it's been a sad day for me.  I grew up listening to Carlin...

He had a special way of TAKING everyday situations and making them funny as *censored*.  Not only was he a great comedian, but a philosopher as well.

I was taken aback when I read about it this morning...I spend to much time on the computer...and always end up being a day late and a dollar short.

I'm surprised there aren't that many replies to this thread...acknowledging his passing.

I guess I'm showing my age.
