Solve : Getting rid of MTP Device bubble?

Hey,

I TRIED to install an EXTERNAL hard drive:
Model: WD3200BEVT- 22ZCTO

I went into control panel and tried using the install new hardware WIZARD. Did something WEIRD and now I have this icon on my taskbar that has this bubble that keeps on popping up:
Found new Hardware MTP device
It MAKES a popping sound every10s and is driving me crazy.
Can anyone help?
