Solve : gigabyte GA-K8N51GM-9 motherboard issues?

Answer»

hey having a little problem with my motherboard, or at least i think that is the problem. while power is still going though to the fans and lights, my comp doesn't seem to be loading the bios, i don't get anything displayed on my monitor.

I've tried a different monitor(not the problem)

I've disconnected the power cable and held the power button to drain access power and removed ram and video card to TRY and run the on board video(that also didn't help)

Help would be much appreciated, thanksExamine the board for leaking and/or broken capacitors. Is the display completely blank? If so, try a different display. Quote

Sorry - I MISSED that.all the capacitors and SOLDERING spots on the back appear to be flawlessIf you don't have a bunch of custom settings made to the BIOS settings ect. you might try removing the battery from the motherboard which will set some stuff that MAY be preventing successful BOOT to default. that didn't solve it, but could the battery be dead and be the cause of the problem
