Solve : Gigabyte(tm) chipset fan?..?

i built my own frankenstein-(gigabyte motherboard GA-7DXR+ with AMD processor clocked at 1.7ghz)- everything works pretty fine since i reloaded and optimized Win Server 2003, but the CHIPSET fan doesn't work, and i don't know if it's a setting in the BIOS that i missed or what?... i'm INSTALLING another fan on the inside of the box to help, because i think it's overheated and pulled an auto shutdown PHYSICAL mem dump a couple of times- any other SUGGESTIONS?
