Answer» Good clarification there CC...BFG APPEARS to be an obscure card maker. Their website is blank. Get the drivers from nVidia. ...However now even WITH the system restores, i am continually getting the blue screen despite having gotten rid of ultramon. should i start with the nvidia drivers, perhaps going to some older ones?Yes.Plzz Check thatt your Fan iss WORKING ok orr not is it slow orr stopss afterr some time I did have same kind of PROBLEM but now after replacing fan I am able to CORRECT itchecked the fans, both the motherboard and graphics card ones are working fine. SuperDave has been trying to help me fix my computer in another thread, and we seem to be getting nowhere fast; we seem to have ascertained that the cause in my computer not booting is not spyware/malware. So i am coming back to tinkering with this now. I am trying the recommended 197.13 drivers from nvidia. I have been running my computer in safemode for about a week, ill see what happens once i have installed these drivers. New AGP cards are just not well supported since computers no longer use this interface.i get this error: Just tried to run my computer in nonsafemode, tried to update the drivers normally and THAT update failed too... should i be posting this perhaps in another forum?Quote from: patio on July 26, 2011, 12:57:55 PM Which means they probably never spent the money to write proper drivers for any OS out there... |
