Solve : graphics card causing crashes??

Answer»

Good clarification there CC...BFG APPEARS to be an obscure card maker. Their website is blank. Get the drivers from nVidia.
They are on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BFG_Technologies
Graphics card business is in liquidation.Which means they probably never spent the money to write proper drivers for any OS out there...
I'd personally give up on that card if it were me...nVidia doesn't MAKE gfx cards themselves? what's with the nVidia logo on this graphics card...

i keep thinking of roald dahl when i think of bfg...So i think ultramon has totally effed my computer in the a. I am continually getting the bluescreen now. Before i installed ultramon this time, i made a system restore of everything before i went ahead with it considering last time i ran it i suspect it was ultramon interfering with my graphics card that caused the crash.
However now even WITH the system restores, i am continually getting the blue screen despite having gotten rid of ultramon. should i start with the nvidia drivers, perhaps going to some older ones?Quote from: kamikaze33 on July 28, 2011, 05:14:46 PM

Yes.Plzz Check thatt your Fan iss WORKING ok orr not is it slow orr stopss afterr some time I did have same kind of PROBLEM but now after replacing fan I am able to CORRECT itchecked the fans, both the motherboard and graphics card ones are working fine. SuperDave has been trying to help me fix my computer in another thread, and we seem to be getting nowhere fast; we seem to have ascertained that the cause in my computer not booting is not spyware/malware. So i am coming back to tinkering with this now. I am trying the recommended 197.13 drivers from nvidia. I have been running my computer in safemode for about a week, ill see what happens once i have installed these drivers. New AGP cards are just not well supported since computers no longer use this interface.i get this error:

Just tried to run my computer in nonsafemode, tried to update the drivers normally and THAT update failed too... should i be posting this perhaps in another forum?Quote from: patio on July 26, 2011, 12:57:55 PM
