Hi i Was using my ocmputer last night when the entire system crashed for a few minutes when its started again i restarted it. The boot up screen came up as normal however there were SETS of 4 vertical blue stripes running up the screen. I was worried wbout this and just before my login screen apeared the monitor seemed to lose sync with the tower UNIT, displaying the message that apears when my monitor is switched on but not connected to my unit. It restarted itself and gave me the option to go with my last known good configuration which i tried but this gave the same results. After restarting itself again I started it in safe MODE as soon as this came on the blue lines disapeared and i could run it as i normally could in safe mode. Ive tried system restore butthis didnt work either and opening my towere nothing is oout of place. Has anyone experienced this before or do you have any advice i could take towards solving this problem?

Edit: i am sorry if this is in the wrong forum im just not sure of the problem and my original thought was it may be a problem with the graphics cardtry booting into Safe Mode With Networking, and go into Device Manager..

START>RIGHT click My COMPUTER>properties>hardware tab>Device Manger.

click on the plus sign next to Display Adapters and right click on the submenu item, then select UPDATE to see if Windows will find a better display driver for your system.....Then see if the problem go's away
