Solve : graphics not working?

Answer» ive just set up my new motherboard and i went to plug in the VGA cable from my monitor and it does not find it ?... I've tried my graphics card and the onboard graphics, its RUNNING ok and all the cables are in the right place, if anyone knows how to fix this please help. So, you have BOTH on board graphics AND an add-on graphics card. But, you've also said:

If you have onboard graphics and it doesn't work, how can you say the motherboard works fine?
