Solve : Green light blinking?

Answer»

I've had some trouble starting my computer recently and the problem seems to be pointing to the power supply box. Whenever I plug in the power supply cord, a GREEN light BEGINS blinking in the power supply box. Does anyone have any idea what this is or how it can be fixed? How does the PC work after you plug in cord? You are saying that you have to un plug & then plug the cord back in to get in going? explain Quote

What is the problem?Sorry, the actual problem is that the computer will not turn on at all. Once the power supply cord is plugged in, a green light begins flashing in the power supply box and on the front of the tower the on button(which is usually solid blue when everything is working properly) will blink. Can you tell us what model and make your computer is.For starters replace the power supply. For starters replace the power supply.
From what I can tell, this may fix the problem but if we know what computer he has, we MIGHT be able to TRANSLATE the blinking light. This is true Carbonto me it sounds like power supply, or mobo.If no fans are spinning i would replace the power supplyMaybe we should find out what's going on first before jumping to conclusions.it's an HP Pavilion a000Hmmm...didn't really find anything...

I would try a new PSU first....
