Solve : grey screen?

Answer» Having recently MOVED, i switched my laptop on, it seemed to by loading however the SCREEN is grey. I have tried several things, but no luck. Could the move have DAMAGED my monitor. How do i RESOLVE this. ThanksCan you hook up an external monitor to see if the proble is with the screen/connection or with the video adapter in the laptop itself?
