Answer» hey guys this morning i was out searching for honey bees as there were only bumble bees i COUGH one(carefully) and noticed it was a queen as she was big and had a large abdomen and it is hard to find bees as it is to find queens of bumble bees as in my area there seems to have disappeared. after i freed it because will DIE and...knock it off. I'm sorry, but what the bloody heck is the point of the off topic forum if people can't ramble nonsense? The other topic was locked for "nonsense", which is exactly what this forum is for - to keep the nonsense out of other forums. This is actual rubbish, i know i dont have to read it or take part, but of all the nonsense that COULD be posted, this is the most annoying, banal and fruitless.People have different senses of humour. The attitude of one moderator shouldn't dictate what everyone else finds funny or amusing. Funny and amusing it aint........sometimes you need to know where the line is and these kind of puerile posts can open a can of worms that could possibly lower the off topic section into something farcical. (another tuppence, that 4 pence today :-( ) Yeah, I agree with you about this topic. But the other one was perfectly fine in my opinion. People were responding to it, so they must have found it amusing in some way. Personally, i'd leave the bees alone and concentrate on my grammar, but hey, that's just me.... The "other one" was locked (and the poster warned) because of his last post where he told someone to shut up. It was rude and, in my opinion, the thread was only going to degenerate from there. Was I a bit premature? Perhaps. But if you look at all of the posts by this one individual I think you'll have to agree he borders on being a "troll" - which is unacceptable on any forum. And by the way, nobody else complained. If there are others who want that thread reopened I'll do so gladly. But the warning level will remain in place for now.That's fair enough. I just think a small bit extra leeway should be given for the off-topic forum. I don't disagree. This was a one-off instance.Looking over the OP's posts is all anybody needs to do. Additionally, the fact that this topic only appeared suddenly after the other one was locked, and the off-topic threads only appeared after his other posts started to get ignored elsewhere, is evidence that he is just looking for attention. Had Allan not locked the other Topic i would have... I don't feel CH has a case of over-moderation...we always take other factors into CONSIDERATION... I've seen it go both ways on other Forums...but not here.

Funny and amusing it aint........sometimes you need to know where the line is and these kind of puerile posts can open a can of worms that could possibly lower the off topic section into something farcical.
