the hdd of my pc loads/runs continuously after i leave it for 1 minute (all programs in the taskbar are closed; SCREEN saver and standby DEACTIVATED; system TRAY icons still active). it does not stop loading. the continuous loading will stop when i will do an action (for example, i will click the start menu). i will leave the computer again for 1 minute then the hdd will LOAD non-stop again. what will i do on this? please help me... THANKS n God bless...There are background processes that will always being doing some sort of i/o. But in this case, check to see if you have the file indexing feature turned on. File indexing is used to speed up your file searchs and runs when the computer is otherwise idle.
