Answer» when i try to install WINDOWS xp from cd in SETUP OPTIONS when i select a partition and tries to format the drive from cd after completing 100% message appears windows is not able to format this drive make SURE drive is connected and is turned on and when i tries to install windows leaving file system as it is after COPING files when computer restarts after bios completed a blue screen appears which shows error code 0x0000007......................... and direct to restart the system and when computer restart "t" appears You should DLoad and run the diagnostics from the HDD manuf. site and run them to see if that drive is healthy. Use the DLoad to create a bootable CD to test the drive. Windows does not need to be running so you can even do this on an empty drive. Is this a genuine XP CD you are using or a copy ? ?
