Answer» i have a laptop from HP... and my hard disk(60GB) is samsung.....wen i tried to self TEST my hard disk, i got a read failure... All drives get/have bad sectors...this does not neccessarily mean the drive is failing... perhaps not the last leg, but I'd say it's running it's last few laps... Although I did use two hard drives with bad sectors for several years after they developed them. NERVOUSLY, but they worked.I have a 720M HDD i still run that was diagnosed with bad sectors back when Duke Nukem first came out... DOS and WWG.Have you tried running CKDSK? It is lame not to. You are sitting at a computer. Get it right in the DOS box before posting.Thought it was right! Course you must be perfecto!4fingerlid,trizle, and countless others... is this a yearly thing?"4fingerlid,trizle, and countless others... is this a yearly thing?" What's that supposed to mean? I don't appreciate being called lame for a simple mistake! Also I don't appreciate your comment about missing toes. It's no fun! Try it sometime! Others will know what I mean. and it's actually a signature. And I'm not changing it. Although, come it think of it, it's about time for a change... |
