Answer» I am building a new system! This is the first one I have ever built with sata harddrives in it! Here is my question:
I have 2 250 GB Harddrives hooked up via sata cables.Do I hook the CD Rom up to the primary or secondary cable? Also is it a SLAVE or a master?
As I am probably over thinking this so please excuse any stupid questions from me!

Another quick question.....
With sata do I need to set one of the hard drives as slave or is that doe auto becuase of the sepperate hook-ups on the board?There aren't any master/slave settings with most SATA drives,,,SATA1 will be the boot drive so checkout your MBoard docs or VISIT the website to find out which is which....
Or if you're not half blind like me you MAY be able to read the writing by the pins on the MBoard...
