You will find the jumper located on the rear of the hard drive ......and there should be the option of setting the jumper to : Master Slave Cable Select DL65 jjon: Hmmm, i never thought of that. The hard drive enclosure LETS you connect an IDE HDD via a USB port. My guess is the jumper setting would not matter, but i may be wrong. ----------------------------------------- What do you think, DL65? jjon......With all due respect ....you asked "where do you set the jumper on the pc hd " and "where on the ext. hd?" using where SUGGESTS a location ......As a result , I responed , telling you where on the Hard drive the jumper is located .
