Answer» ..I am new to doing PC repairs,and am wondering if there is a way to format my C drive and still keep the OS system,while removing all other programs... I am just curious as to if this can be done,and if how? THANKS...No. You cannot selectively format a drive. Even a REPAIR install WOULD leave programs intact so that wouldn't WORK either. The best that can be done is un-installing the apps themselves then using a cleaner such as CCleaner to get rid of any remnants followed up by a good diskclean/defrag SESSION...
