Solve : hard drive help!?

Answer»

I recently purchased a Hitachi internal hard drive (3.5") off of eBay and an ATA external hard drive enclosure case (3.5"). According to the description, the hard drive was ATA. When the hard drive CAME in, it turned out to be SATA. Is there a way to get my SATA hard drive to WORK with the ATA enclosure case? I am willing to purchase any needed CABLES, connectors, etc. Any help is much appreciated. THANK YOU.

So, your OPTIONS: return hard drive or the external enclosure, if possible; get a SATA controller card to install in your computer so that you can install the drive internally; get an external enclosure for a SATA drive.Oh i thought it would be possible to do it Quote

How? The article you cited does not have any info on making a SATA drive work in an enclosure for IDE drives and I've never seen any info elsewhere to that effect.
