Solve : hard drive not recognize/detected?

Answer»
When I OPENED the casing of my pc I accidentally unplugged the sata cable in my hard disk..When I plugged it again I encounter these messages at start up:

Auto-detecting pri master…not detected
Auto-detecting pri slave…not detected
Auto-detecting sec master…not detected
Auto-detecting sec slave…not detected

CMOS Setting Wrong / CMOS GPNV checksum BAd..

I change the sata cable thinking there might be a problem with the cable but still I encounter same messages…

Auto-detecting pri master…not detected
Auto-detecting pri slave…not detected
Auto-detecting sec master…not detected
Auto-detecting sec slave…not detected

CMOS Setting Wrong/CMOS GPNV checksum BAd..

When I checked IDE devices at SET up it says;

Primary IDE Master…not installed
Primary IDE Slave..not installed
Secondary IDE  Master ..not installed
Secondary IDE Slave..not installed

What COULD possibly the problem with my pc

Hope this info could help:

OS: XP
Mobo: Asrock Prescott 533
Hard drive: Seagate
RAM: DDR 266 – 512MB 8 mb shared memory
Processor Type: Celeron R CPU
Did this happen while the power was on ? ?If you unplug the hard drive do you still get the "CMOS Setting Wrong" ERROR? If so then I think a BIOS reset is in order.
