Answer» I have 539 BAD sectors on my HARD drive (4 gig). Does anyone know if I COULD partition this hard drive and somehow get those bad sectors into a partition that I don't need to use?You need to replace the hard drive pronto. It is failing and it can snowball QUICKLY. There is no substitute for intact hardware. Thanks for the reply..........was fairly SURE this would be the case. But, YEAH...a new laptop for Christmas!
