Answer» I'm WORKING on a computer with a rather SMALL hard DRIVE. I would like to replace it with a larger hard drive, with an OS on it, but it was working as a slave before. Will it still have the OS data, and can it become a master drive again?WELCOME to the CH forums. The Slave drive can become the Master if you reset the JUMPER correctly and replug it to the end of the multi-core cable (assuming ATA). However the OS on the drive should have been created on the hardware on which the OS is to run. Good luck
