Answer» I recently tried to swap a 40GB hard drive w/ XP on it with ONE that's 16GB w/ 2000 pro (which is corrupt). However, windows won't start up w/ the "new" hard drive in place. Any answers?? thnx for ur help )A Windows installation has to be made on the machine you are trying to RUN it on otherwise it will cause problems... Do you have a shiny MS CD to do a REPAIR INSTALL ? ?
