Solve : Hard drives divided?

Answer»

I tried searching for an answer but couldn't find one...probably because I do not know the correct terminology so I apologize in advance!

Anyway, a while back I brought my computer to a local service place to be repaired...it turned out that the video card had overheated and needed to be replaced. I have 2 hard drives on the computer, one is 80 GB and the other is 120 GB.

However, when I got the computer back, they had "divided" these drives into 4...I am not sure why but assumed it was done to make my computer run better.

The problem is, they MADE the DRIVE where I install all my PROGRAMS on...the "C" drive, a measly 35 GB, and I have run out of space to install programs! I would like to know how to REMOVE these artificial divisions so that I could have my original 80 GB and 120 GB drives back, if possible.

I truly appreciate any help, as this has been a big ISSUE for me the past month.

Thanks very much,

Julianif they have allready been formatted and information is on them then you will lose all of the data on them.http://partitionlogic.org.uk/
