Solve : Harddisc Latitude X300?

I have Dell Latitude X300 and I can not get in to the laptop and probably I must format the harddisc. But first I WANT to SAVE my data on the harddisc. I have HEAD that it is possible to
take out the hardisc and with some equipment save the data to another computer.
Where can I get the equipment for this kind of operation ?
