Answer» can some one tell me how i can CHECK through DOS if my harddisk is not good no more.you can do it by scandisk or you can INSERT startup disk ( floppy) and run scandisk with serface test thanks There is also the option to obtain a [free] DIAGNOSTIC disk from the Hard Disk Drives manufacturer. Use it as you WOULD use a Boot disk.
