Thats odd ive got no email nor do i have a pm ok i did try a few other things still no luck .......... the only reason i want it changed is because it takes about 10 mins to start my computer up and i dont know why but what i do know is i need to get shot of the of the 160gb harddrive but that isnt going to happen ....Get rid of ALL drives except the hard drive you want to use as your main drive. Hook it up as master on IDE1 Hook up the DVD as master on IDE2. Reboot and enter setup to make sure the HDD is recognised...if it is then re-boot with the XP CD in and set to first boot DEVICE and install the OS. Once you are done and all the drivers are installed and working you can introduce the other drives one at a time...I will give that a shot cheers patio
