Answer» 40 was previously set to device 0 (MASTER) when the system stopped working.. neither setting is workingQuote from: helpo on September 19, 2009, 07:24:45 AM rest arnt jumperd at all..I thought IDE drives had to be jumpered to either master, slave or cable select in order to work properly. well it was working haha for atleast a year or 2.. i just had them on same channel and the 40 set as masterQuote from: lectrocrew on September 19, 2009, 07:49:09 AM I thought ide drives had to be jumpered to either master, slave or cable select in order to work properly. That's true. However, on some drives, Master is no jumper.well out of the ide's the one WITHOUT jumpers is the 80 and IM pretty sure it is bust.. so now the problem is getting my pc to work without it |
