Solve : Hardrive probs.?

Answer»

I recently put a PC GAME on my second hardrive to save space on the primary drive, No PROBLEM there, But when the game NEEDED to download a Auto- update I got an error message(Forgot what It said). So I reloaded It on the C drive and the game Auto-Updated fine. I am finding out that some software works improperly on my D or second drive. Why, And can I fix? I know someone will help me with this, you guys are awsome. SOUNDS to me like a bad HD, however, some programs do need to be customized if they are installed on a different drive.

what do you mean by "some software works improperly"? we need more specific details, that auto-update error message might be helpful as well.so it is only software that CONNECTS to the internet that works improperly?

I will have to download software and write down error message
that would be very nice, thank you.Simply point the DLoad to the proper drive/directory.
If it doesn't like this method then save it to disk and install from there.
It doesn't matter where you save it to as long as you point it to the proper directory when installing...
