hi

My computer is running on Windows XP. Since last few weeks my computer shuts down with the following message:

Hardware malfunction
consult your computer vendor


I opened the event veiwer and found two erros with following messages:

1. The HPDJ00 Service failed to start DUE to the following error

The system cannot find the file specified
2. The General purpose USB Driver (adildr.sys) service failed to start due to the following error:
The service cannot be started either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled drivers associated with it

I do not have much KNOWLEDGE about computers and cannot afford to TAKE the computer to the shop for repair. Can any one help me please!!!wata you gonna do now is reformat your computer with a license DISK by microsoft windows XP mmaybe you are using service pack 1 or servise pack 2.......


that is a virus...... for us..........

reformat and reinstall windows XP... no choice

have a CD just follow the instruction...... it will guide you.....
Do you have a geeky friend who COULD look at it for a free dinner? No computer experience attempting this sounds overwhelming.
