Solve : have installed ms dos but can't get cd rom drive recognized?

1.	Solve : have installed ms dos but can't get cd rom drive recognized?
Answer» Hard drive reformatted-so only MS Dps installed through old floppies. Have been UNABLE to get D drive (CD rom) to be recognized-even though the light does go on. I have CHANGED the boot order in the BIOS and it still just goes to MSDOS and gives a C prompt. Any ideas?Please do not start multiple threads on the same topic. I'm locking this thread.
