Answer» HI, I have a PC that lately started giving me problems the problem is as follows: A. My Computer DOESNT want to install my games i put the dvd in the dvd device and it reads all good but when im installing it, it always gives me an error saying some XXXXXX ARCHIVE cannot be read to retry it does this for all games my computer is optimize to run games and all my drivers are uptodate. B. After this happen i went out and bought me a new DVD device thinking it was that so i used it with that and still same thing so i tried my friends dvd and cd-r devices and still same thing, so im thinking of going to buy a new motherboard, but i dont know if its that or the hard disk any help will be greatly apreciated thanx I would question the quality of those DVD's before i bought a new MBoard and or a HDD...Well the DVD's work great on my friends computer that is WAT i dont get.Replace the IDE ribbon cable for the DVD'sI'd diagnose the RAM before replacing. And the HDD. |
