Answer» I just got a new comp from Systemax which came with a Hitachi 1TB 3Gb/s Sata II HD.
I have noticed the HD MAKES seeking noises and that sometimes a webpage will not finish loading until
I hear another noise coming from the HD. ALMOST like it was stuck and once it got UNSTUCK the PAGE was able to finish loading.
I have checked to make sure I don't have a virus or trojan infection and I am fine.
I don't want it to sound like the noise coming from the HD is a "CLICK of death" or a load grinding because its not its just a sound that sounds like the platter might not be seeking smoothly.
Anybody have any ideas how I can make sure that this is actually a defect?
MIf its the HDD contact the vendor for a replacment asap.Systemax ?
