Answer» i got one hdd damage
i tried using low level format tool under XP, it can detect the hdd but when start the format, the MESSAGE write error displayed. and i let it run for OVERNIGHT, it seems no progress but kept displayed write error at LBA.
i also tried using Xp installation CD to repair and fdisk to repair,also no hope.
the hdd cannot find under windows (i use external usb casing to plug into mypc), but i can see it under bios.
i tried download samsung ESTOOLS,it also cannot format.
anybody can tell me what to do?Buy a new hard DRIVE.
If you're having that many problems just formatting the drive, it isn't stable ENOUGH to TRUST with information, even if you could get it to work.
You can get a new hard drive for well under $100 from http://www.newegg.com.I think, you need new hard drive.and give the old one to a "friend" lol
