Answer» i can not turn on my computer, and my hdd make a sound tic-tic-tic..... currently i'm using new hdd, and i would LIKE to know that can hdd that make a sound can be fix? or can i know what cause my hdd act like that? anyone please....on my old computer when the hdd made the TICKING sound and would load i would hit it, and sometimes it would then CLICK and start but that is not sound advice and would'nt really recommend doing it. your new hdd has windows on it?YES, i'm already installed windows on my new hddIs it your new hdd that is ticking? A ticking hdd is a bad thing and usually means the hdd is failing. If you tell us the BRAND of the hdd we can point you to the drive maker's hdd diagnostic utility. It can usually tell you if your hdd is failing.
